CWTL Crew Q&A: Gregory Cassagnol on why he got involved with the documentary

What made you decide to do this film?
It was an opportunity to shed light on the HIV crisis and the systemic flaws in Haiti’s infrastructure to people who were non-Haitian. The media perceptions of Haitian culture have been viewed through a skewed lense throughout my lifetime; often in direct opposition to my living experience as a Haitian American. “Conversations With The Living” is my personal contribution towards projecting an honest and unbiased view of a medical and social condition that deeply affects the land of my ancestors.
