Heal Haiti Concert Series

The team at Conversations with the Living, LLC. has pledged a lifelong commitment  to the rebuilding efforts in Port Au Prince. In addition to completing our documentary, “Conversations with the Living: Globalization and the Haitian Aids Crisis”, we are sponsoring a series of benefit concerts in NYC and LA featuring the hottest acts in the worlds of indie rock, hip hop, kompas, and world music. Event proceeds will be divided between short and long term relief projects to rebuild Port Au Prince via charitable donations to the Hospice St. Joseph (www.hospicesaintjoseph.org) and Le Peristyle de Mariani, represented in the USA by the Temple of Yehwe (www.vodou.org). The remaining portion of proceeds collected will be utilized to underwrite completion of our film “Conversations with the Living: Globalization and the Haitian Aids Crisis”. Conversations with the Living, LLC. will provide all donor attendees with certified letters of proof of their donations for tax purposes.

Our first concert in the Heal Haiti concert series will be held on Friday, February 12, 2010. Featured artists scheduled to perform include FOOD WILL WIN THE WAR, LUCIUS, MEM, and JONAH SMITH.

We are calling out to all independent and mainstream artists, booking agents, and record company executives to reach out and lend us a helping hand. The people of Port Au Prince need your help now more than ever. Join us in our cause and become a part of the conversation.

All inquiries for the Heal Haiti concert series should be addressed to gregory.cassagnol@conversationswiththeliving.org .

Your Sincerest Thanks,

The Team at Conversations with the Living
